Vortic Military Edition

Known for their pocket watch conversions, Vortic introduces their latest model, the Military Edition. Commissioned by the US Government at the beginning of World War II, the AN5740-1 serves as the heart of their new Military Edition, a pocket watch built by three of three biggest names in American watchmaking at the time: Elgin, Waltham, and Hamilton. Vortic has carefully restored these movements to almost factory condition and fitted them into a precision-cut 49mm titanium case with a black DLC coating. The custom domed glass is handcrafted for Vortic by White's Crystals in San Francisco using German-engineered glass while the back is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass. Completing the look is a duo of custom straps that come in a canvas strap option made from vintage military canvas duffle bags and a dress uniform strap made from back Horween leather.

Limited to 50 pieces.
