Urwerk UR-220 Falcon Project

Always one-upping itself when it comes to its own designs, Urwerk reveals its latest masterpiece of industrial design, the UR-220 "Falcon Project." The bold watch is encased in 87 ultra-thin layers of CTP carbon that is compressed into a hard resin to create its unique and innovative case. Inside the watch is the brand's signature satellite indication with wandering hours on rotating cubes while a minutes pointer sweeps across a 120-degree, 60-minute scale. The movement is Urwerk's manually-wound Caliber UR-7.20, which has a complex structure of ARCAP P40, aluminum, bronze, steel, and grade 5 titanium and has a power reserve of 48 hours. The watch is fitted to their first-ever rubber strap, which undergoes a special process to achieve a velvet-like finish.
