Tudor releases three new additions to its Black Bay collection
Tudor has updated its Black Bay collection with three new models that will surely steal some attention away from its sibling, Rolex. The biggest reveal is the Black Bay Pro ($3,675-$4,000), a watch that borrows some design influences from the Explorer II with a more vintage-focused approach that features a fixed 24-hour bezel, an orange 24-hour "Snowflake" hand, and yellowed markers. Available on a bracelet, leather strap, or rubber leather strap, the 39mm watch is powered by their MT5652 automatic (70-hour power reserve) with a built-in GMT function.
Black Bay GMT Steel & Gold
The Black Bay GMT ($4,300-$5,550) gets a classic rendition in steel and gold with a bidirectional rotating bezel in yellow gold with an anodized black and brown ceramic insert. The 41mm case features a satin and polished finish with a domed grained matte black dial and the brand's signature "Snowflake" hands. The watch can be purchased with a steel and gold riveted bracelet, a brown leather strap, or a black fabric strap. The watch is powered by Tudor's MT5652 automatic, which has a power reserve of 70 hours.
Black Bay Chrono Steel & Gold
The Black Bay Chrono ($6,000-$7,250) also gets the Midas touch with steel and gold models. The 41mm case features a satin and polished finish with a fixed bezel in yellow gold and a black anodized aluminum tachymetric scale. The dial is domed and features a champagne-colored sunray satin-finish dial, black subregisters, and "Snowflake" hands. The watch can be purchased with a steel and gold bracelet, an aged leather bund strap, or a black Jacquard NATO-style strap. Powering the watch is a MT5813 automatic chronograph movement with a 70-hour power reserve, column wheel, and vertical clutch.
All the new Black Bay models are available today at Tudor retailers.
