Continuing with their partnership, Tudor has worked with Ducati to release a new line of Fastrider watches with this version matching the new Ducati Scrambler with three face color options in ‘62 Yellow, Ducati Red, and Wild Green. With a similar design ethos and dedication to product integrity and craftsmanship, it’s a natural fit that these two iconic brands work together.
We were invited to join Tudor on a road trip to see the new Fastrider Chronograph and Ducati Scrambler in action through Central California. In true Tudor fashion our journey would take us through the rustic and historic beauty of California to the posh and luxury lifestyle that is the Quail Motorcycle Gathering.
Beginning in the charming town of Ojai we made our way up the coast. Early in the day the weather was not on our side as the clouds rolled in and rain began to pour putting the rider and bike to the test. The Ducati Scrambler held its own in the environment proving to be a very capable bike and much like the Fastrider it can live with you through various conditions.
The bike hugged the road through the wet pavement on the highway and once the clouds cleared and as we made our way to the coastal hills and windy roads - the fun began. The Scrambler handled the tight twists and turns of Highway 1 like a champion. The ‘62 Yellow paint on the bike contrasted perfectly against the stunning scenery and vantage points. Almost as if planned perfectly by Tudor, we ended the long day at the fabulous Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, CA to clear skies and an epic sunset.
The next morning, one last ride was in order as we made our way to the Quail Lodge in Carmel, CA. The Quail Motorcycle Gathering brings together some of the most sought after vintage, classic, and modified motorcycles from across the world. A good bike similar to a good watch, such as Tudor’s offerings, has a detailed and beautiful design complemented by a utilitarian purpose and can withstand your life’s adventures.
