Heuer Skipper

One of the most coveted vintage Heuers is being brought back as a special edition for Hodinkee. We're talking about the Carrera Skipper, a rare watch made in the late '60s and only less than 20 examples are known to be in existence.

The new version of the watch grows in diameter and gets bumped up to 39mm and features a polished stainless steel case, faceted lugs, a domed sapphire "glassbox" crystal with double anti-reflective coating, and a Tag Heuer Caliber 18 movement with a Dubois Depraz chronograph module and has a 40 hour power reserve.

The watch will come with one perforated leather strap, two NATOs, and an optional aged green leather Hodinkee strap with a Tag Heuer deployant clasp will be available at discount. Each watch is individually numbered and the entire run is limited to 125 pieces.
