Tag Heuer's latest watches for 2022 includes one of its boldest moves yet, a Carrera that's wrapped in lab-grown diamonds. And they didn't simply just slap a bunch of diamonds on the watch, the company carefully and seamlessly set 48 diamonds into the 44mm anodized aluminum case and they even crafted a 2.5ct lab-grown diamond crown. The dial also features a polycrystalline diamond plate, black polycrystalline diamond plate counters with a black opaline finish, and 11 rhodium-plated white gold indexes set with lab-grown diamonds. The watch is powered by Tag's Heuer 02T nanograph movement, which has a power reserve of 65 hours.
Carrera x Porsche Limited Edition
For their second collaboration, Tag Heuer and Porsche release a new limited edition with a 44mm black DLC steel case and a fixed black ceramic bezel with Porsche branding. The watch ($7,050) features yellow accents throughout and the Caliber Heuer 02 automatic movement has also been finished with matching yellow accents as well.
Tag Heuer's dive watch lineup gets a new Aquaracer model called the Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver ($6,650) that features a titanium case and a matching titanium bracelet. The 45mm watch takes it down to the deepest depths with a 1000M/3,280ft waterproof rating and dive times are indicated by a black ceramic and orange bezel. The movement is a TH30-00 COSC-certified automatic with a 70-hour power reserve.
Alongside the Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver (October), the company introduces a solar-powered model that features a caliber from La Joux-Perret. The solar-powered movement can be recharged by the sun or artificial light and only requires two minutes of full sunlight to run for an entire day. A full charge allows the watch to run up to six months and it can run for up to 3.5 years when its Power Save mode is activated. The watch itself features 40mm black DLC steel case with a unidirectional bezel made out of SuperLuminova-treated carbon.
