Tag Heuer kickstarts the 50th anniversary of the Monaco with a 1970s special edition

Tag Heuer Monaco 50th anniversary 1970s special edition

The Monaco has certainly become one of the icons of the Tag Heuer lineup and it has definitely earned its place amongst watchmaking's greats. This year, the watch celebrates its 50th anniversary and to commemorate the occasion, Tag Heuer is releasing five limited editions that celebrate each decade since the watch's launch. The first limited edition is a 1970s model that features a textured green Côtes de Genève dial and two black, gold-plated sunray sub-dials. The movement is a Caliber 11 automatic with a 40-hour power reserve and completing the look is a perforated brown leather strap. 

Limited to 169 pieces.
