Tag Heuer's new Connected smartwatch goes modular and gets powered by Intel - Acquire
The first luxury smartwatch to wear the "Swiss Made" label.

Tag Heuer is getting even more aggressive with its smartwatch efforts for 2017 with the all-new Connected 45. The new model introduces a modular system that allows you to swap out everything from the bands to the lugs and the watch module. Tag Heuer will even sell a 3-hand or tourbillon mechanical module for when you want to go analog.

The smartwatch module was designed in collaboration with Intel and features their Atom processor that works in conjunction with Android Wear 2.0. You'll also get an AMOLED screen, built-in GPS, NFC for wireless payments, over a day of battery life, and a wide selection of Tag Heuer dials.

The dials can also be thoroughly customized with Tag Heuer's Studio dial configurator and a Connected App will be available for Android with iOS support to follow shortly after. 56 versions of the watch will be available, which will include options that range from titanium to black ceramic and much more.
