Hodinkee has had quite a year when it comes to watch collaborations, but they're not done yet. The publication is introducing one of its most beautiful collaborations to date, a Slim d'Hermès for Hodinkee. What began as a conversation between Hodinkee founder Ben Clymer and Hermès Creative Director Pierre-Alexis Dumas has turned into an incredibly special collaboration, a rare one in the fact that it is only the third time the company has created a timepiece collaboration. Their previous partners? Jaeger-LeCoultre and Apple.
The collaboration will be available in two editions: a time-only steel model (above) and a GMT in Palladium. Both watches will feature an exclusive blue dial with smoked sapphire crystal, a 39.5mm case, a transparent display back with its individual number and a "EDITION HODINKEE" engraving, an automatic Hermès-manufactured H1950 movement, and an exclusive blue alligator strap.
The time-only model ($7,650) will be limited to 100 pieces while the GMT ($14,500) will be limited to 24 pieces.
