Sinn's 856 B-Uhr modernizes the classic deck watch
Sinn is taking it all the way back to the 18th century to inspire its latest timepiece, the 856 B-Uhr. Though they've kept the classic styling, the 856's construction benefits from the company's watchmaking technologies to create a tool watch worthy of the open seas.
Staying true to the dial designs of traditional B-Uhr watches, the hour hand is shortened to indicate time inside an inner hour circle and the minute hand has a more emphasized design as minute indication was the relevant metric during operations. As for the watch, the 865 features a 40mm bead-blasted stainless steel case thats is hardened using their Tegiment technology. It also features magnetic resistance, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, shock-resistance, Ar-Dehumidifying Technology to reduce fogging, and an automatic movement.
