Shinola launches a rugged version of its flagship timepiece
The new RFW version features a carbide-coated case.
Shinola's most famous watch is getting a military-inspired update with the launch of the Runwell Field Watch. The normally polished case now has a matte sandblasted stainless steel finish with a carbide coating to further enhance its durability. It also features a field watch-style dial with thicker, luminous numerals, and a mil-spec nylon strap in olive green. The watch also features an Argonite 703 quartz movement, 10 ATM water resistance, and an AR-coated sapphire crystal to help reduce glare.
