A breakdown of Rimowa's newly streamlined luggage collection

A major update for one of the most prestigious luggage names in the business.

Rimowa's fully updated product line is now available and one of the biggest changes you'll see is an all-new naming scheme that ditches the Salsa and Topas model names for Original, Essential, Hybrid, and Classic. Original will be the new name for its iconic aluminum cases while Essential covers all the polycarbonate models. Hybrid will be the name of its aluminum/polycarbonate models while Classic is the new name for its vintage-inspired Classic Flight series.

It's also become much easier to differentiate the individual sizes with carry-on models being renamed "Cabin" while the larger models are called "Check-in" and "Trunk." The names aren't the only things being streamlined as the entirety of the line receives a number of subtle, but important changes such as improved materials and enhanced maneuverability on tougher surfaces. Oh, and sorry Add-a-Bag fans, looks like that feature will not be available in the current lineup.
