
The Ray-Ban Wayfarer just got a bio-based upgrade
The iconic sunglass has been revamped with Bio-Acetate frame material.
One of the most famous pieces of eyewear of all time is getting an eco-friendly update with the launch of the Bio-Acetate Wayfarer. The frame has the same timeless shape that the Wayfarer is known for but it's is now offered in a design that uses 67% bio-based materials, which are derived from cotton, wood pulp, cereals, beet, and sugar cane. The frames are offered in two classic colorways as well as three new frame options with a striped finish.
