Ralph Lauren Earth Polo

Ralph Lauren is celebrating Earth Day with a reimagining of its most famous product, the Polo shirt. The company has introduced the Earth Polo, a new version of the collared staple that is constructed out of twelve plastic bottles. These plastic bottles were sourced from a charitable organization called First Mile, who sourced the plastic from their partners in Taiwan and then turned the material into a soft mesh to create each shirt. The labels and the hangtags of the shirt are also made from recycled materials and each shirt is dyed using a special carbon-dyeing process that uses no water when applying the dye. And yes, each shirt is designed to be fully recycled at the end of its life.
