Rado combines ultra-light ceramic and titanium in its latest HyperChrome Ultra Light
Rado is showing off its expertise in high-tech materials with a new limited edition HyperChrome Ultra Light. Limited to 500 pieces, the watch uses Si3N4 silicon nitride, an ultra-light ceramic material that is half of the weight of the standard ceramic used in their other watches and it's also harder and even more scratch-resistant. The sides of the watch are crafted from hardened grade 5 titanium making for a watch that weighs just 56 grams. Movement is an ETA automatic with a 64-hour power reserve with a plate and bridges that are black anodized and exclusive to Rado.
