Rado is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the DiaStar Original with a special edition that blends steel and their proprietary Ceramos material. Ceramos is a mix of metal and ceramic, which has been radial brushed for unique finish. Designed in collaboration with Alfredo Häberli, the watch features a metallic grey dial with a faceted design that's circular brushed and dot indexes filled with Super-LumiNova. The 38mm case houses the brand's gold-plated R764 movement, which has an antimagnetic Nivachron hairspring and a power reserve of 80 hours. The watch comes fitted to a stainless steel "Milanese" bracelet and also includes a grey textile strap.
