Before there were sport shields or wraparound sunglasses, there were the "glacier glasses" that offered full peripheral protection. One of the first examples of this was the 4 Lenses, which was the fifth sunglass design by Persol. Released in 1935, the 4 Lenses sunglass recreates that classic silhouette using a full array of crystal lenses just like the original frame. Persol is celebrating the release with special colorway that will be limited to 100 pieces and features a coffee acetate frame with polarized blue crystal lenses. It will also be joined by a full collection of several frames with different frame and lens combos.
