Patagonia's Silent Down Jacket is less noisy and a lot more eco-friendly
A down jacket that's doing some good.
For their latest down jacket design, Patagonia is tackling a few important issues. First and foremost, the company wanted to reduce the "swish swish" sound that you usually experience in a down jacket and they've constructed it with 70% recycled polyester taffeta that has a DWR finish. It also features Fair Trade Certified sewing, stretch, and they've filled it with 100% recycled 700-fill-power down reclaimed from used duck and goose down.
