Patagonia Micro Puff Hoody

Patagonia's got a new insulated jacket this season and as you can see, it's not your run-of-the-mill down jacket. That unconventional stitching pattern isn't for looks, their design team needed a way to reduce any potential clumping and shifting so they created a unique pattern that lowers the amount of quilt points to spread out the lofting across larger areas allowing for more warmth and less cold spots. A combination of PlumaFill synthetic insulation and Pertex Quantum GL woven fabric keeps it all lightweight and warm and it allows for a packable design that's perfect for travel.
