Panerai continues its focus on sustainable materials with its latest collection for 2022. The brand's recycled Steel material makes its way into the Submersible collection this year with the new QuarantaQuattro eSteel model ($11,300 - June). The 44mm watch features a brushed Steel case with a unidirectional polished ceramic bezel insert. The watches are powered by Panerai's P.900 caliber, which has an Incabloc anti-shock device and a three-day power reserve. All three watches in the collection include one recycled PET strap and a recycled rubber strap.
The new Submersible QuarantaQuattro lineup is led by the Carbotech Blu Abisso ($18,200), a 44mm model with a Carbotech case and a unidirectional Carbotech bezel. Two 44mm steel versions join the Carbotech model and all three watches feature Caoutchouc straps and fabric straps that use recycled materials. All three models also use Panerai's P.900 automatic with a three-day power reserve.
Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa
Panerai also continues its partnership with the Luna Rossa Team, who won the Prada Cup in the last America's cup. Their latest collaboration is a special edition is the Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa ($9,900), a 44mm model with a brushed steel case, a bidirectional bezel, and a three-day P.900 automatic movement. The watch is fitted with a rubber and fabric strap that's finished with the team's signature red stripe.
Luminor Goldtech Calendario Perpetuo
The boldest piece in this release is the Luminor Goldtech Calendario, a 44mm watch in polished Goldtech. Limited to 33 pieces, the watch features a transparent dial and a P.4100 three-day movement and a perpetual calendar. Owners of the watch will also be invited to an all-expenses paid trip to Florence to experience the brand's heritage firsthand.
