Panasonic's premium LX100 point-and-shoot gets a megapixel boost in its new update

Panasonic continues to go head to head with Sony's RX100 with its new LX100 II. The premium point-and-shoot gets a boost in resolution with a 17MP Four Thirds sensor that is also capable of 24p/30p 4K video.  The camera will also feature a Leica DC Vario-Summilux 24-75mm f/1.7-2.8 lens, a 2,764k-dot EVF, and a 3-inch touchscreen display. Other features include 5.5 fps burst shooting, monochromatic shooting modes, macro shooting, and Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
