Omega is flipping back to the earliest chapters of the Seamaster with a new collection that pays tribute to early days of the watch. The collection is inspired by the time when the company's designers looked to Venice's various renditions of Neptune's Seahorse. which eventually became the emblem for the collection. The watches also take inspiration from Venetian architecture with the watch's domed opaline-silver dial and the spherical crown that echoes the shape of the dome of St Mark's Basilica. The watch will only be sold at the Omega boutique in Venice and will be available in a steel or 18k Sedna gold option.
