Speedmaster “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th Anniversary

Omega commemorates the "Silver Snoopy Award" given to the company in 1970, which recognized the watchmaker's contributions to space exploration and the Speedmaster's important role in the rescue of Apollo 13. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the award, Omega is releasing a limited edition Speedmaster that pays homage to the beloved beagle. The 42mm watch features a laser-engraved silver dial with blue PVD hour markers and hands, a Snoopy detail at 9 o'clock, and its best feature, an animated Snoopy that takes a trip to the moon when the chronograph seconds hand is activated. The watch also features a blue ceramic bezel ring, a blue nylon strap, and Omega's Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 manually-wound movement.
