Omega has launched a new edition of its Speedmaster with a watch that brings some new functionality to the storied model. The 43mm watch comes in stainless steel or Omega's exclusive Bronze gold finish. Both watches feature three scales: a tachymeter that measures speed based on distance, a telemeter for measuring distance based on the speed of sound, and a pulsometer for measuring the human heartbeat. The watch's movement is a manually-wound Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9908 that has a bridge with Geneva waves in arabesque and DLC-coated twin barrels to reduce wear. The movement is a METAS-tested certified Master Chronometer and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
