Omega is marking 60 years of the James Bond franchise with a special edition of one of his go-to timepieces, the Seamaster. Inspired by the watch worn by Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye, the watch features a 42mm stainless steel case that hides an animated "moire" effection animation of the famous opening sequence on the sapphire case back. Beneath the case back is a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, a METAS-approved automatic that has a power reserve of 55 hours. The company also created a Canopus Gold version with a dial in natural grey silicon that pays tribute to the sands of 007's Caribbean hideaway. The bezel has been accented with green and yellow diamonds and two diamonds are set at 12 o'clock. The watch also has a Calibre 8806 like the steel model but has been upgraded with a 18K Sedna gold rotor and balance bridge.
