Omega releases a limited edition De Ville Tresor in support of Orbis
Omega's newest limited edition is certainly one of their most important. The watch was created to help support its work with Orbis International, a non-profit NGO that focuses on preventing blindness and eye disease in the communities that need it most. The limited-edition De Ville Tresor features a 40mm stainless steel case with a domed gradient blue dial that features polished hands and applied domed indexes in 18K white gold. Its most unique detail is the blue teddy bear that replaces the 8 on the date wheel, a reminder of the toys given to children that undergo eye surgery. Each watch is powered by Omega's manually-wound Calibre 8511, which features an 18K red gold balance bridge and a 60-hour power reserve.
