Nike Re-Creation

Nike is launching a new program called Nike Re-Creation that adds another component to their sustainability efforts. Re-Creation takes vintage and headstock garments and then upcycles them into new pieces that are locally designed and manufactured. Available in limited quantities, the pieces are restored to a wearable state, each going through a process that involves cleaning, dyeing, stitching, and patching. The program launches this week at The Grove in LA with three Nike fleece hoodie and crewneck silhouettes that feature heritage and LA-inspired screen printed graphics.
