Nike NSW Hyperadapt Unired

Nike delivered a nice little Christmas gift to those who have been waiting for almost 30 years to put their feet inside that unicorn of Back to the Future technology: self-lacing sneakers.

The electro adaptive reactive lacing system, otherwise known as E.A.R.L., was the first full production self-lacing sneaker to hit the market. The only problem was that the shoe has been exclusive to America since December.

That will all change over the next couple of months as Nike is initiating a global release of the HyperAdapt 1.0 in Japan, China, London, Berlin, Milan, and Paris.

The shoes will be available at select Nike, Nikelab, and Dover Street Markets and will come in the original Black/White-Blue Lagoon and the new Black/White-Red Lagoon colorway (above).
