Nike Gakou Flyknit

Sometimes its the most minimalist forms that speak volumes and the new Gakou Flyknit is a prime example of that. The shoe was a prototype that kept stealing the attention of Nike's designers with its sleek, Aqua Sock/Sock Racer-like styling.

What's really interesting is that the design team couldn't figure out exactly where to place a Swoosh and/or logotype to complete the look of the shoe. The solution? Pack the shoes with a set of rubber Nike logo stencils so wearers can customize the placement and color or leave it the way it is.

The Nike Gakou Flyknit will be available online and in-store on August 24th.
