Nike's popular Free Running collection is getting a big redesign that is now lower to the ground and even more flexible. Designed for lower-mileage runs, the new Free midsoles feature firmer cushioning and a flatter design to give the shoes a much more natural range of motion and the top and bottom of the shoes feature additional siping for flexibility. The 5.0 (above) is 26% more flexible and 2mm lower to the ground than the previous model while the 3.0 is 1mm lower. They've also created new uppers that feature a minimal lacing design in the 5.0 model (top) while the 3.0 has a lace-less design with a secondary lock-down overlay.
