Montblanc celebrates 110 years of an artist who was way ahead of his time, Wassily Kandinsky. The Russian-born painter was not only a pioneer of the abstract art form, but serves as an inspiration to generations of designers and artists both past and present.

Inspired by his work, Yellow-Red-Blue, Montblanc's limited edition pen features a gold skeletonized cap wrapped in red, blue, and yellow lacquered inlays that come to life with a three-dimensional effect. The pen's barrel is designed with a gradient to match Kandinsky's early works and the cone is shaped like the onion domes of Moscow.
