It's been over 15 years since Kenzo Takada left his namesake fashion label and since then he's reappeared designing homewares and now is one of the Honorary Presidents of the Asian Couture Federation. Today, Takada is back again leaving his stamp on an exclusive pair of glasses from one of the oldest names in Japanese eyewear, Masunaga.
The intricately designed frames are available in six styles and feature design elements inspired by 1920's jewelry. The aviator style pictured above features a combination of acetate, titanium, and 18K gold which is constructed using Masunaga's welding technologies.
Kenzo Takada's collection is set for release at the end of this month and more info can be found at Masunaga1905.com.
