Louis Vuitton is jumping aboard the wearables train and their first foray is a luxury smartwatch with a heavy focus on travel. The Tambour Horizon takes after the design of its analog timepieces, but swaps out the dial for an AMOLED screen powered by Android Wear.
The 42mm case is accompanied by a 24 hour ring that wraps around the touchscreen display that will have a dedicated hour hand for indicating the second time zone on the 24 hour ring. Alongside the array of watch faces that replicate its analog designs, the watch will feature a variety of travel-focused features that have custom alerts for things like boarding time and a watch version of Louis Vuitton's City Guides.
The watch is compatible with both Android and iOS and features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, a 390 x 390 AMOLED display, and a battery life of up to 22 hours with normal usage.
