Longines' Heritage Military brings back a style originally created for the RAF
The watch was originally released in the 1940s.
Built for the Royal Air Force, the Heritage Military recaptures the aesthetic of that original design with a design based on a watch owned by Stanley Turner, a former radiotelegraph operator in the RAF. The 38.5mm watch features a stainless steel case and a silver opaline dial that is misted with drops of black paint by hand to emulate the oxidation of the original watch. Movement is the Calibre L888.2 automatic with 64-hour power reserve and the watch will be available on either calf leather strap or a green Nato.
