Longines captures the 1940s in its latest Heritage timepiece
The watch is based on a design from 1946.
Longines has jumped back into its time machine once again to revisit a watch from 1940s with the Heritage Classic Chronograph 1946. The watch beautifully captures the era with a 40mm stainless steel case that features a domed silvered opaline dial with chronograph counters that are surrounded by Arabic numerals designed in an italic "dolphin"-style. "Leaf"-style blued hands make their way around the dial while an automatic movement with a 54-hour power reserve keeps things ticking along at a measured pace.
