Leica announces the 47 megapixel SL2
Leica's SL is getting a sequel this month with the debut of the SL2, a 47-megapixel upgrade that receives some major enhancement both inside and out. The full-frame 47-megapixel sensor delivers tons of dynamic range, 14-bit color depth, and sensitivity of up to ISO 50,000. The EVF gets a big upgrade with a resolution of 5.76 megapixels and is accompanied by a 3.2-inch diagonal 2.1-megapixel touchscreen. Additional features include in-body image stabilization, new simplified three-button layout, improved ergonomics, IP54 certification for weather sealing, and a new Maestro III processor that speeds up autofocus and shooting speeds.
