It looks like world timers are going to be quite popular this year and one of the finest examples presented at this year's SIHH watch fair is the Galet Traveller Globe from Laurent Ferrier. The dial showcases a stunning view of the world at night, a convex planisphere meticulously crafted from 18K white gold and surrounded in seas and oceans done up in a blue enamel.

The world's cities are also decorated with gold leaf dots to create the illusion of illuminated cities and towns under the night skies. Movement is their in-house 230.01 calibre with dual-time functionality and an 80-hour power reserve.
