LAMY dialog urushi

LAMY has called upon the expertise of Norihiko Ogura and Manfred Schmid to create a new line of dialog 3 pens with an urushi finish. Inspired by the four seasons, each pen is carefully finished with a lacquered finish and it takes several months to finish a single pen. The extensive process to create just one pen involves several days of drying between the the 12 stages of lacquer application and finishes like the gold colorway require a delicate hand to apply the gold grains that measure just .03 mm in diameter.
