The J.Crew x New Balance 990 V.1 Pack
Following up last year's success with their limited edition 998s, J.Crew and New Balance are back at it with not just one, but two limited edition sneakers with their 990 V.1 Pack. Originally launched in 1982 for $100, the 990 was their most expensive and advanced sneaker debuting a patented "Motion Control Device" in the heel for enhanced support.
For this edition, J.Crew used the original "V.1" design and swapped out the shoe's nylon mesh detail with suede and came up with two new colorways, the first time New Balance has let anyone outside the company change up their design.
The shoes will be available at 10AM on March 7th at the J.Crew Liquor Store in New York and Copley Place in Boston. JCrew.com and select stores in Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Hong Kong, Honolulu, London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. will get them on March 11th.
$190, more info at jcrew.com.
