Jaeger-LeCoultre's new Reverso celebrates the Year of the Tiger
The watch's case back takes 55 working hours to complete.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is celebrating the Year of the Tiger and the opening of its new Shanghai boutique with a special edition Reverso in pink gold. Made to order, each watch's case back is finished with a tiger engraving that takes 55 working hours to complete. This process involves a technique called modeled engraving that requires differently sized chisels to sculpt the metal, which is set against a Grand Feu enamel background. As for the watch, the case is finished in pink gold and is powered by a manually-wound JLC Caliber 822A/2 that has a power reserve of 42 hours.
