Jaeger-LeCoultre has a deep history of building innovative chiming watches and the company considers it to be at the very foundation of their mechanical expertise. This year the company debuts their latest timepiece with a chiming caliber, the Master Grande Tradition Répétition Minutes Perpétuelle. The watch features a new gong system that is inspired by antique sonnerie pocket watches that has a chime described as having a purer tone and a fuller bass note. This is accompanied by their caliber 950 automatic movement that also features a 38-hour power reserve, a minute repeater, and a perpetual calendar with date, date, month, moonphase, and year complications.
