IWC's new Top Gun collection makes its debut with Ceratanium cases
IWC is introducing a new Top Gun line to its Pilot's Watch collection at this year's SIHH. The new collection will feature the company's proprietary Ceratanium material, which utilizes a special titanium alloy and a ceramic treatment that is created during a furnace process to increase the hardness and scratch resistance of the case. One of the most striking pieces of the collection is the "Mojave Desert" edition (above), which features a sand-colored case that is created by using zirconium oxide with other metallic oxides. All of the watches in the collection will also use IWC-manufactured movements.
