Icon Duesey

Many of us have lusted over Jonathan Ward's incredible creations at Icon 4x4 and now the designer is taking his talents to the watch world with the Icon Watch Company. The first watch is an elegantly simple design inspired by classic Duesenbergs.

Called the Duesey, the watch is a design that could easily exist in 1920 or 2020. The minimalist dial is crafted from a polished onyx stone with two frames that are made from polished brass. Two windows framed by polished brass surround a jumping hour and seconds disc and all of this is housed in a 42mm, sandblasted grade 2 titanium case.

The movement is a Dubois-Depraz automatic 14400 module with an ETA 2892-A2 top base and features a customized oscillating weight that's crafted from tungsten with yellow gold plated marking and an applied brass lizard in a yellow gold finish.

Other details include a sandblasted grade 2 titanium case back, polished grade 5 titanium bezel, double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a polished grade 5 titanium crown with lizard etching, and an alligator leather strap with turned edges and black calf leather lining.

The watch will be limited to 50 pieces and will be delivered in the first quarter of 2018.
