Based on a military issue boot, Japan-based bag label Hobo teams up with Danner to reimagine the Tachyon in a lifestyle-specific silhouette. The eight-inch height of the standard boot is reduced to six inches for this collaboration and features an upper constructed out of a mix of premium cow suede and a durable nylon/polyester mesh. This is all coupled with Danner Dry, a 3-layer lining that is both waterproof and breathable. The upper sits on a lightweight EVA midsole and a pentagon-shaped trade pattern on the outsole keeps things grippy on a variety of surfaces.
