G-Shock is releasing a metal version of the popular "CasiOak"

The octagonal case gets a stainless steel upgrade.

Nicknamed the "CasiOak" for its resemblance to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the octagonal case of the G-Shock 2100 became a huge hit not just for its AP-like looks but also for its very accessible $99 price point. This year, G-Shock is upgrading the model with a new version that wraps the watch in stainless steel. From the looks of the dial, we imagine most of the functionality will remain the same with features like LED lighting, 200M water resistance, shock resistance, and a resin band.
