Grand Seiko is showing some love to its friends across the Pacific as the esteemed watchmaker releases an exclusive line of Spring Drive watches for the US. It is the first time that Grand Seiko has released US-exclusives and each watch dial will be crafted using inspiration drawn from the Kirazuri method, a painting technique seen in the Ukiyo-e art style. The watch case will be 40mm and the movement is a Caliber 9R15 automatic with a 72-hour power reserve and is produced at Grand Seiko's Shinshu Watch Studio.

The watch will be available in platinum (20 pieces), rose gold (50 pieces), or stainless steel (558 pieces) on a bracelet.
