Giuliano Mazzuoli's Carrara switches it up from the usual steel, gold, or even titanium watch cases, they've encased their watch in Italian Marble sourced from the Apuan Alps in Carrara, Italy. This is the very same place where artist Michelangelo got his marble to create the famous Statue of David.
The cases are handmade by Italian marble workers and due to the nature of marble, every case will be unique. The cases are sized at 44mm and are complemented by an inner ring of metal to aid in the structural integrity of the marble case. The three hand dial models will have a ETA 2824-2 inside and the chronographs will feature a La Joux-Perrett 7771.
