Fender's American Acoustasonic Telecaster rethinks the acoustic guitar
Ten guitars in one.
Fender is trying something a little different with its new Acoustasonic Series Telecaster. The new model is a hybrid acoustic/electric Telecaster that is designed to produce a variety of acoustic and electric guitar tones from a single guitar. The guitar features an acoustic, Telecaster-inspired body coupled with their Acoustic Engine that offers a selection of ten acoustic and electric tones, a Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless magnetic pickup, a mahogany Telecaster neck, and a patent-pending Stringed Instrument Resonance System for naturally loud guitar tones.
