And they're calling upon the rest of the industry to elevate their approach to luxury goods.
Dita Epiluxury

An undertaking that took over three years to complete, Dita debuts its Epiluxury line, a no-compromises expression of the company's timeless yet forward-thinking eyewear designs. The first collection will launch with six styles, each featuring a modular system of interchangeable, magnetically attached lens pieces, interchangeable temples, and in their EPLX.5 (top), you can even swap out bridge components too.

One of the most impressive elements are the limited edition temples, which feature an elaborate construction consisting of 21 carefully crafted components. These temples combine luxurious materials such as Asian Water Buffalo horn, custom woods, and Japanese acetate with lightweight titanium. Beyond eyewear, Dita hopes to expand the concept of Epiluxury to various brands to create unique luxury products in other categories. 

"We launched the concept of EPILUXURY with eyewear because its where our expertise lies. But there is no reason there couldn’t be EPILUXURY skincare or a fragrance where we seek out an incredible perfumer to partner with. We are just looking to do something different,” says Michael Castillo, Head of Design DITA Group." 

All of the frames are hand-numbered and are released in 500-piece runs (in each color) for core styles and 200 pieces per color in their flagship models. Dita-Epiluxury will be available worldwide this month at Dita flagships and select sun and optical retailers.
