Detroit Watch Company

Looks like Shinola isn't the only game in town. The Detroit Watch Company is the brainchild from Patrick and Amy Ayoub, a husband and wife team who are launching the company out of Birmingham, Michigan.

The collection will launch with two styles: One is called the Pride of Detroit Aviator (above) inspired by Detroit's own Edward F. Schlee, an oil millionaire and pilot. The other watch is based on the founder of Detroit, Antoine Laumet de la Mothe, Sieur de Cadillac and both feature automatic Japanese Miyota movements and 44mm stainless steel cases.
